Since its inception, our team dedicated itself to advancing cell-free biosynthesis and exploring new ways to unlock the future of sustainable bioproduction. We are proud of the scientific and technical progress achieved along the way and grateful for the encouragement and interest we received from the broader community.

Like many early-stage companies, we faced challenges in securing the resources necessary to move from scientific and technical progress toward commercialization. While this chapter is closing, the knowledge gained and the spirit of innovation that fueled our work remain a foundation for future endeavors.

As founders, we remain deeply optimistic. Science is always moving forward, and so are we. There will be new ideas and new opportunities where we can apply what we’ve learned and continue to push boundaries.

We thank everyone who supported us—our advisors, partners, investors, and all who believed in the vision of making sustainable bioproduction more accessible. Your encouragement made this journey meaningful and memorable.

While Cell Free Energy is coming to a close, its mission—to make biomanufacturing simpler, cleaner, and more accessible—lives on in everything we will continue to build. This is not goodbye, but a continuation of the same pursuit, carried forward in new forms.
